readers journal#14

 Dear Thomas (friend from soccer.) , The book I abandoned is called The Lightning Thief.The author is Rick Riordan.I chose to read this book because I thought it was intresting because of the movie and also because of the graphic novel.But unfortunately it stinks.Here are the characters that I read about:

Mr. Brunner :A Latin teacher.

Grover : Protecter.

Percy Jackson :Main character . The gods think he stole the lightning bolt.

Annabeth :She is a demi- god just like Percy.
The setting of my book is in a lot of places.
The plot of my book is that a regular boy got blamed by the gods that he was a lightning thief and that if he did not return it there will be a war against the gods he went in his first quest to give back the lightning bolt.So he did go and I suppose he gave it back without a war.
My least favorite part is the part where Percy gets blamed for something he did not do.
I do not have a favorite part.In this book.
Well hope you enjoyed.I abandoned because I did not understand most of it and it is boring.

    Dear Julio, nice RJ! I liked how you explained why you abandoned the book, many people dont. I have a few questions for you.
    -If you met up with Rick Riordon, what advise would you give him to make his book better?
    -If you liked the movie and the graphic novel, what was wrong with the book? The only difference is that its more detailed.
    -And lastly, If you were in the movie, which part would you want to play? Why? How does this person relate to your personality?
    Next time I siggest you explain in more detail, and you write more about the character. Good job!

    Nice rj! I liked the way you wrote about each character. What is a demi-god? Why don't you have a favorite part in this book? What is another reason you dont like this book? Next time, I suggest you use more details.

    If I met him I would tell him to make the book more interesting like the movie.
    I did not like it because it was not so actioned like I thought.
    Percy does because he likes the water like me.

    A demi-god is like a baby that is born from a mortal but the dad or mom are a god.
    I do not have a favorite part because the book was not so interesting.
    I did not like the book because of how boring and not so fun it was.This is why I do not like the book.
