I really liked the book. I did because it was very interesting and also detailed. I also understood it more after I read the chapters again. I would recommend the book to anyone because it is very detailed and informative.

I would really like to read a book like this again but I hope it could be better.

My plot is that a boy named Jonas was going to be a 12.He is very nervous because he does not want to get a job he does not want.He also does not understand one of his dreams but then he did. 

I do not have a least favorite part because I liked the book.

My favorite part is the entire book.It is because i loved it.

I would rate this book 10 out of 10.

Dear _________________(any person who is reading this).The book I just read is called The giver.The author is called Lois Lowry I think this author does not really explain so good in the beginning .I do think this because he just starts like if we were supposed to know what the story is about. and like if we were supposed to know who the characters are.So I think that the author should explain more in the beginning.The characters are :

The setting of the story is in a little "village".The author does not say the setting.

My favorite part is the part where the boy has to say why he is late to class.
My least favorite part is the part where the boy gets nervous for no reason.

 Dear Thomas (friend from soccer.) , The book I abandoned is called The Lightning Thief.The author is Rick Riordan.I chose to read this book because I thought it was intresting because of the movie and also because of the graphic novel.But unfortunately it stinks.Here are the characters that I read about:

Mr. Brunner :A Latin teacher.

Grover : Protecter.

Percy Jackson :Main character . The gods think he stole the lightning bolt.

Annabeth :She is a demi- god just like Percy.

The setting of my book is in a lot of places.

The plot of my book is that a regular boy got blamed by the gods that he was a lightning thief and that if he did not return it there will be a war against the gods he went in his first quest to give back the lightning bolt.So he did go and I suppose he gave it back without a war.

My least favorite part is the part where Percy gets blamed for something he did not do.

I do not have a favorite part.In this book.

Well hope you enjoyed.I abandoned because I did not understand most of it and it is boring.

the book I abandoned is called Meet the kreeps there goes the neighborhood.I really did not understand it so this is why I abandoned it.The author is called Kiki Thorpe.Strange name huh?Hope you understand my journal.Here you go!
The characters:


Polly Wrinkler: Shy is very curios and spy's on her strange new neighbors.


Mike :Polly's friend.


The neighbors: Kreepy so are called "Kreeps"
Setting is in some place where Polly spies on the creepy family's items(really strange items such as crocodiles , bat sofas.)
Plot:My plot is that the girl named Polly Wrinkler sees that she is going to have new neighbors.But by what she sees they look very creepy so she thinks that they are weird.I also do think that.
The conflict is that the girl is wondering why the people are so weird.
My least favorite part is the whole book.
My favorite part is the part where the nararator explains how the furniture looks like.

The book I read is called chicken soup for the kids soul.I think the authors are mostly like the kids who sent these letters saying things that happened to them. I really liked this book it was very interesting.I think you should read it.

The setting is in some basketball court.I think it was very sunny , cool.
The plot of my book is that a boy was in a basketball team he really never played in games.He never scored any shots.But one day a kid sprained his ankle so he took his spot and they were in the championship.So he did his best and he actually made the winning shot.He was so happy and everyone else was to.I really liked this book.
The conflict is that the boy could not make a shot.
My favorite part is the part where he makes the shot.
My least favorite part is the part where the boy gets his ankle sprained.

The book I read for a memoir is called Chicken Soup for the kids soul 2. I really liked this book.I thought i would like to read it because last year Mrs.Klink always read us one and I enjoyed listening to them.The author's (more than one author.) of my book are called Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Patty Hansen,Irene Dunlap.I think two of the authors are married because they have the same last name or they might be family members.
The characters of my book are:There are a lot of characters in my book so i can't list all of them.But I'll tell you the ones from my favorite section in my book.
                                          The Race
Characters:


Todd: He is a racer in the boat races.He built a milk carton boat.      ( Boat made of milk cartons.) He really want's to win.


Brett:He is also a racer in the boat competition.He is Todd's partner.They both want to win.1st place.


Little Boy: He is very frustrated that he can not move his boat.He is helped by the 2 boys.
The setting:
The setting is in a huge lake where the boys race.The weather conditions sounds kind of cool and not breezy.I think that there is no breeze because the boy can not move his boat.But whit a breeze i would at least push him far.
Plot:
 The plot of this part in my book is that people should always be nice.This is true because the two boys Todd and Brett want to win the race.So the race starts and they are far ahead winning.Close to the finish line Todd Said let's turn back and help the little boy.Brett was against that but Todd still kept saying to turn and go help the little boy so he can also reach the finish line.They went back and got the boy's boat and paddled to the finish line even though they lost they were very happy they helped someone win also.They were very glad and sad that they lost.
The conflict:
the conflict is that they can't get to an agreement to turn back and help the kid.
The resolution:They remember how they lost badly and so they went back to help.
My personal opinions of this part is very good.I think that because it's very nice that they gave up first place to go help someone.
My favorite part is the part where the boy's go back and help the little boy.I think it is very nice to do this.
My least favorite part is the part where Brett said "No".It is very mean to do that.

Dear Alexander,
The short story I read is called The giraffe and the pelly and me. I really liked this book  alot.It was very interesting to me it was so funny and also detailed.The author is called Roald Dahl.He writes very good for what i read in his book.I really liked this book.
The characters of my book are called:

Giraffe-The giraffe is part of the ladderless window cleaning company.The giraffe can raise it's neck very high.The giraffe is kind of like the ladder.

Pelly(pelican)-The pelican can slide it's beak back into the back of it's neck.The pelly is also part of the lwcc(ladderless window cleaning company.)The pelly is like the bucket of water.

Monkey-Monkey doesn't really have any thing special. Monkey just cleans the windows.He is also part of the lwcc.

Billy- Billy is a boy that loved a candy shop but it closed so he could not believe it.Then he saw a sign that said SOLD he was very unhappy.So the next day he returned to the place and spotted some letters. He read it and saw it said lwcc.He wondered what ladderless window cleaning company meant.He then spotted some animals in some windows,they owned the place.He then became the manager.

Duke-He is very rich and owns a very big house and thanked the lwcc for all the hard work they had done.
The setting is in Europe.It is very detailed.The setting does not change.
The plot of my book is about a boy that finds out that his favorite candy shop is sold.The new place is called lwcc(ladderless window cleaning company.)He did not know what this meant.Then he spotted some animals,they were inside the building.He was surprised to see animals in the building.Then they made him manager of the company.After all this a guy came and read a letter to them from the Duke.It said that he wanted them to clean his window because they were so filthy and dirty.They were very happy because they were going to get paid and be able to buy food with that money.They were famished(hungry) because they did not have any money to buy any food.Then they turned the lwcc into a candy shop because they could get anything they needed from the Duke.Especially food.The new candy store was very marvelouse.It had so many different type of candys there were alot of different typed of varieties from alot of different places.For the first day when the shop opened Billy was letting people get free candy.It was alot of people outside waiting for candy.
The conflict of my story is that the animals did not have any money for food so they were starving.
The resolution is that the Duke gave them all the food they needed.He did because they did a outstanding job in the window cleaning.And for cathching a burglar who was robbing his house.
I really liked this book it was very interesting.Also it was detailed very much.
My least favorite part was the part where they said they had not ate for along time.It is because i feel sad for them and i think the author shouldn't have put that.
My favorite part is the part where they get all the food they need.It is because i am happy they get to eat in such a long time.
The theme is that you should never give up hope.(They have no food they keep on woking to get it.)

Dear Maria the book i did not like to read was called Kaleidoscope Eyes.The author is Jen Bryant.I abandoned this book because it was not such a good mystery, i did not like it.It was not so detailed so i did not know everything about this book on what i read.I really would not recomend you to read this book.It is not creepy or action,so what is the point to read a book you are really not interested in.I did not have a favorite part.
My least favorite part was the part where they could not find a way to dig into the dirt to find the treasure without ruining anything.
Finally no i did NOT like this book.

Dear Tommy
the book I read is called "Thomas Edison The Great Inventor."It was a really good book the author is unknown.I guess it is because it's from Time for kids.Well anyways it is a really good book. It was very interesting.It teached me a lot of information on Thomas Edisons great{cool,important}inventions.
The characters are:

Thomas Edison:Inventor

Wife#1:she died.

Wife#2:She was Edison's second wife.

Edison's helpers:They helped him do the inventions{ideas}.
The setting is not really in my book. But he is in his lab,train.
The plot of my book is about a very young boy that was not so good in school.By that i mean he did not really pay so much attention in school.He would be called on and would be day dreaming and he won't know what to do.He was called "Al" until one day he said he did not want to be called Al anymore,he said he wanted to be called "Tom".He said that when he was 15 years old.He actually invented the first movie film that moved but it had no sound.He also made the first light bulb out of cotton inside a light bulb. That made the bulb light up for 13 hours{Wow that's a cool fact to know}.He died on October 18.People light up a light for one minute to remember Thomas Edison's Brilliant work.If it weren't for him we might still be using candles.
Fun Fact:He was able to make so many inventions because he was deaf so he didn't get distracted.
The conflict of my book is were he has to find something that will help him make light glow for a long time.
The resolution is the part were he finds that cotton is a good resource to make light glow for a long time.
My favorite part is the part where he makes a successful light bulb.
My least favorite part is the part where he dies.This is because it is sad to know you were successful in life but then it is you last day to live.After everything you have done.

The plot of my book is about a girl named Annemarie and her family and friends.This is a sad book but it turns out to be victorios in the end of the book.It is sad because the soldiers terrify everyone and they don't let kids have so much fun as they used to.But the people still do not give up hope to be free from the German's.But they still tought that their king can help them be free from the Soldiers.

The conflict is that people did not have the same righs as they did before the war.

Resolution:The war ended.

My favorite part is the part where the war ends.

My least favorite part is the part where the soldiers throw Annemaries food out that she was taking to her uncle.

                  The book i was reading is called Perseus.The author is called Geraldine McCaughrean.I really did not like this book. it was boring and i did not understand it.So i abandoned my book.I only got to pg.85 out of 117pages.My characters are called:

The king and queen:Very important.


Perseus:God of the water.


Andromeda:The lady who was tied to a rock.



Sea monster:About to eat the lady.
The setting is in a mythical place.

The conflict is that Perseus has to save Andromeda from the sea monster.

The resolution is that Perseus saved The girl by killing the sea monster.


My opinion is that if you do not like boring books DO NOT read this book.It is very boring.
My favorite part is the part that
Perseus saved the girl.
My least favorite part is most of my book because it is very boring.

The plot of my book is about a boy named Alfred Kropp. he was a regular kid and then he had to get back a sword he took.Then he went with the good guys and got the sword back from the bad guys by fighting.Then he got it back but he lived but the others did not.
The conflict of my book is that they have to get the sword back.And to try not to lose the sword again.And to not get the sword to the wrong hands.
I would reccomend this book to other people.My favorite part is the part where they get the sword and my least is the part that Bennacio dies.

                    The book I'm reading is 339 pages long. The name of my book is called THE EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURES OF ALFRED KROPP. The author of my book is called Rick Yancey. I chose this book because it looked intresting to me. Also because it looked like it had alot of action. But i have two weeks to read it and now i am on page.141.

The characters in my book are:

Alfred Kropp: Main character.

The knights: The good guys.Decendents of King Arthur.

Mom: Died of cancer.

Uncle Farrell: Adopted Alfred.Last real family member.

Bernard Samson: One of the knights.

Arthur Myers: Bad guy.Killed Uncle Farrell

Dad: Abandoned  Alfred when he was a baby.

The setting is in Tennesse.Alfred lives in a small apartment with his uncle.Then his uncle died. So some foster parents took him in. their names are the Tuttles.They have other foster kids to.They live in a small house.

The plot is that Alfred took a special sword called excalibur.Well he "Recovered" it. He did it whit his uncle.The guy Arthur  Myers wanted the sword so he tricked them into stealing it and he bribed them $1,000,000.They got the sword and he payed them $500,000.But the other $500,000 was killing Uncle Farrell.

The conflict is that they need to get the sword back.They need to because if they don't then it will cause world destruction.And a lot of people will die.Including Alfred.And the knights.

I like my book so far.And i would recomend it to people who like action.Also adventure.My feeling is that it won't end in such a happy way.My favorite part was the part where Uncle Farrell got Alfred his drivers licence.My least favorite part was the part where the mom died and Uncle Farrell died to.

Hinton.Well any ways i decided to abandon my book.I did because i didn't really understand my book.I didn't understand my book because it had some words i didn't know.Also i didn't understand where the setting was because first it was in one place then another.And it didn't say who all the characters were.Well maybe because i only got to page51.
Well i liked some of the book of what i read.About what i read i could tell you this book is very old .And my least favorite part is the part were the bad kids assaulted the kid and tried to cut his hair.And my favorite part was the part were the girls stood up from the boy that was annoying them.

                       The title of my book is Take Me To The River. The author of my book is Will Hobbs. I chose this book because the title looked very good , the picture of the cover looked very cool and appealing to me so that is why i chose this book to read. I also chose it because of the author[Will Hobbs] because i have read another book that he wrote.                                                                                           

The characters in my book are Rio,Dylan. Dylan and Rio are both cousins. They have never met each other. They haven't met each other because they live in different places. But they have written letters to each other.           

The setting of the story is in Mexico. Mexico is where Rio lives, so Dylan is going to Mexico to visit his cousin. Dylan has never been to Mexico because he thinks it is dangerous. He thinks that, because he saw  bad things happened to people in the news before.

The plot of my book is that two boys named Rio and Dylan are cousins.They are planning to meet each other and go to the Rio Grande in Mexico.They both are so happy that they are going to meet each other. So Dylan went to Mexico.Finally the day came they both met each other in person.

The conflict in my book is that they can't decide whether going to the Rio Grande or not. Because Rio's uncle is not home to tell them if they are or not allow to go. But they decide to go because they were planning for this adventure long time ago.They packed up all the supplies they needed because they were going to be in the river for a week.There was another conflict which happened in the river.The conflict was that Rio's canoe hit a lot of sugarcane trees that were bent over the river. Then Dylan couldn't see Rio in the water.Finally Rio came out of the water.

I think this book was really good because it had a lot of details. And because it had a lot of action.And the feeling about my book was that i was really interested in my book.My favorite part of my book was the part where Rio and Dylan met each other.This is my favorite part because i feel happy that they met.My least favorite part was the part where Dylan got bit in the lips by a insect.And he was hurt.
